Story Speech Therapy

Olivia is an experienced speech-language pathologist who is passionate about helping individuals tell their story. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from California State University, Long Beach, and her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from California State University, San Marcos. She founded Story Speech Therapy to increase the accessibility of personalized, telepractice speech therapy and accent modification services for children and adults.

 

Olivia's professional expertise spans a diverse spectrum of clinical specialties, encompassing Dysphagia Management, Voice Disorders, Neurogenic Communication Disorders, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), Cognitive-Communication Disorders, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Mild Traumatic Brain Injury (mTBI) Rehabilitation, Head and Neck Cancer, Tracheostomy & Ventilator Dependence, Aphasia Rehabilitation, Dysarthria Management, Dementia, and communication support for individuals with Psychiatric Disorders. Additionally, Olivia is skilled in pediatric diagnoses, working with children with speech and language disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), childhood apraxia of speech, fluency disorders, and more. She has extensive experience in both traditional and telepractice settings.

Olivia's path to becoming an SLP was deeply personal. After sustaining four sports-related concussions during her athletic years, she experienced firsthand the cognitive and communication challenges that can follow head injuries. This inspired her to pursue a career where she could support others navigating similar difficulties—and today, she is especially passionate about concussion recovery and cognitive rehabilitation.

 

Olivia provides telepractice speech therapy services across Colorado, ensuring accessible and high-quality speech-language pathology support. Additionally, she offers personalized accent modification training, helping individuals refine their pronunciation and communication skills in English.
